Vettrim is a Powder containing Sulfamethoxazole and Trimethoprim. Sulfamethoxazole is an antibiotic which is used for bacterial infections such as urinary tract infection, bronchitis, and prostatitis and is effective against gram +ve and –ve bacteria such as Listeria monocytogenes and E.coli.

Contents:

• Trimethoprim IP: 2% w/w
• Sulfamethoxazole IP : 10% w/w

Dosage:

• Poultry: 2 gm – 5 gm per 1 litre of drinking water (Fresh solution should be made every day. Only medicated water should be allowed throughout the day during the course of treatment).
