Vetcyclin is a broad spectrum antibiotic powder for the treatment of Gram positive and Gram negative bacterial infections in livestock and poultry.

Each gram contains:

• Tetracycline HCL I.P: 50 mg

Indication:

Poultry:

• Infectious Coryza, Fowl Cholera, Fowl Typhoid, Chronic Respiratory Disease, Spirochaetosis, Bacillary White Diarrhoea, Psittacosis (ornithosis).
• To prevent infections during stress periods following vaccinations, sudden change of weather, exposure to extreme temperatures and movement or transport of birds.
• To prevent early chick mortality, to stimulate appetite and fasten growth

Cattle:

• Infectious diseases like Haemorrhagic Septicaemia, Anthrax, Black Quarter, Leptospirosis, Foot Rot and Contagious Bovine Pleuro-Pneumonia, Calf Scours, Calf Diphtheria, Pneumonia, Septicaemia, Acute Metritis, Acute Mastitis.

Dosage:

• Poultry:
  • Prevention: 2.5 gm per 4.5 litre of drinking water
  • Treatment: 5 gm per 4.5 litre of drinking water
• Cattle: 2.5 gm per 15 kg body weight
• Sheep, Goat and Pig: 1 gm per 1 kg body weight
