Vettrim is a Powder containing Sulfamethoxazole and Trimethoprim. Sulfamethoxazole is an antibiotic which is used for bacterial infections such as urinary tract infection, bronchitis, and prostatitis and is effective against gram +ve and -ve bacteria such as Listeria monocytogenes and E.coli.

Contents:

• Trimethoprim IP: 2% w/w
• Sulfamethoxazole IP: 10% w/w

Dosage:

• Poultry: 1 gm per 1 litre of drinking water (Fresh solution should be made every day. Only medicated water should be allowed throughout the day during the course of treatment).

• Livestock: For prevention, 125 mg per kg body weight in drinking water, feed or as electuary for 5 days in divided doses.
• Or as recommended by the Veterinarian
